The purchaser or end user of the metal roofing clips shall be responsible for determing the proper use of the product, including, but not limited to, clip size and strength, clip gauge, clip spacing and proper use and quantity of screws for the specific application. The pruchaser or end user of the metal roofing clips, upon acceptance of the product, assumes sole responsibility for determing the suitability of the product for any and all applications and uses.

A professional engineer should always determine the proper metal roof panel style and size, roof load/uplift requirements, clip size and strength, clip gauge, clip spacing and screw requirements for each and every use of the product. Always follow the directions of a professional engineer when using the product.

AMSI Supply will, at the customer's request, supply clip-pull testing reports for the use of their engineer for the purposes described above. In most cases, test reports will be supplied at no charge to the customer.

All testing is performed by an independant testing laboratory using the United States Army Corp of Engineers Test Method 2 using a universal load machine with an Instron electronic load cell.

If testing is required, please download the Clip Testing Request form and fax to our office. Testing and preparation of the resulting Test Report can take several weeks, so please plan ahead.
