PANHEAD WOOD SCREWS
Widely copied, AMSI panhead wood screws are the ultimate in economical performance. The T-17 saw point easily cuts through sheet metal up to 20ga with no pre-drilling. The assymetrical thread design dramatically increases pull out values over traditionally threaded fasteners. AMSI Panhead screws are offered with either combo drive or square drive.
Head thickness is 0.084"+/-.

* Plus-Coat II is a proprietary coating that is extremely resistant to the corrosion caused by ACQ pressure-treated woods and has also passed the 1000 hour salt spray test, as well as the Kesternich test (DIN 50018; ASTM G-87) for 20 cycles. This coating is blue.

ULTIMATE VALUE CHARTS:
Steel: Screws are driven into steel were driven with three (3) exposed threads on the off-side of the connection, then pulled out with the testing machine. Wood: Screws were driven 3/4" into the wood material then pulled out with the testing machine.
Note that all results were obtained in strict adherence to ASTM test protocols. These ultimate figures are offered only as a guide and are not guaranteed in any way by AMSI (Architectural Metal Specialties Inc.). A 4:1 safety ratio is recommended.
INSTALLATION GUIDELINES:
0-2500rpm screwgun with torque adjustment is recommended. Overdriving may result in fastener failure or strip-out of the work surface.
The fastener is fully seated when the screw head's bearing surface is flush with the surface.
Always were eye protection when driving screws. Screws and driver bits may fracture or shatter. Serious injury and/or blindness can occur.
WAFER-HEAD WOOD SCREWS
AMSI waferhead wood screws are identical in thread and cutting point design to our panhead wood screws but featuring a much thinner head thickness of about 0.060"+/-.

MINI ZIP SCREWS
Mini Zip screws feature a modifed "truss" head similar to a traditional pancake head. The are used to stitch sheet metal trusses, flashings and gutters together; use them anywhere two sheets or more need to be stitched together. Available in both sharps and selfdrilling points. White zinc coating.
